About the Podcast

Handlers Only
A Delta Green actual play collaboration
Step into the shadows where no mission is routine and no truth is safe. Handlers Only brings together the minds behind some of the best tabletop roleplaying podcasts for a single purpose: to step out of the Handler's chair and experience one-shot scenarios steeped in conspiracy, dread, and the unexplainable. Each episode features fan-selected or fan-crafted scenarios to be inflicted upon players who know the rules -- but not the game they’re about to play.

Sam Windham

I'm Sam aka the Game Mom, writer, editor, and composer for the horror comedy actual play Delta Green and Call of Cthulhu podcast Hand on the Door. We are five best friends who have been playing games together for a decade recording our table having fun. Our main campaign is a multi-arc original story I wrote in response to working in healthcare during the CoVID pandemic. It follows F-cell in 1998 as they investigate weird biologic breakthroughs in a small Christian college in Hobbs, New Mexico. We also do improv games over drinks called Cocktails of Cthulhu. Our vibe is Twin Peaks after one too many cocktails. You can find us on Spotify (BOO corporate overlords), Podbean, Apple podcast (yay slightly better corporate overlords), or really anywhere else you get podcasts. I think. I'm not good at the internet.

Dead Letter Bureau

Dead Letter Bureau. Some files are burned. Others are buried. The worst are sent here.
Set against the static-filled backdrop of 1998, Dead Letter Bureau is a Delta Green actual play that blurs the line between tabletop RPG and audio drama. Join Handler Butterfield and his damaged assets as they hunt the things that crawl out of the cracks of reality—from the black waters of the American South to the cold geometry of the stars.
Featuring visceral body horror, moral decay, and the slow erosion of humanity, this is a chronicle of the end times, recorded on magnetic tape.

Null Project

Profile picture for Null Project
Libby is the executive director and business lead for Null Project, a horror media collective producing atmospheric, high production value content that treats the genre with the gravity it deserves. As both producer and Handler, he brings an immersion-focused approach to horror storytelling that prioritizes professional execution over typical indie production values.

Null Project's flagship production, "This Line Isn't Secure" (TLIS), is a Delta Green actual play podcast that combines the chemistry and banter of friends at the table with genuinely talented voice actors and role players. TLIS delivers the best product in the space by refusing to compromise on either the human elements that make actual play engaging or the professional standards that make horror work.

Join our intrepid agents on their mad dash for safety and sanity, through a bastardization of multiple rule sets that we know a lot less of then most of you listening. Delta Green meets Call of Cthulhu meets The Thing meets Scooby-Doo meets True Detective, among other things.

Dave APE

I’m Dave, the guy behind Actual Play Entertainment—a crew of friends who love dark, character-driven TTRPGs with real tension and genuine chemistry.

APE is where story and atmosphere come first. We play games that dig into fear, consequence, and the kind of bad choices that make great moments. Our shows include the Delta Green campaign Operation: Blackstar, Mörk Borg: Bloat, Call of Cthulhu, and more!

Vince Kaufman

Vincent A. Kaufman has been roleplaying on and off for over twenty years, having begun his tabletop journey with Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition in 2000. It wasn’t long before he discovered Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu and original World of Darkness titles like Vampire, Werewolf, and Changeling. After a lengthy hiatus, Vince dove back into roleplaying in 2017 with the help of virtual tabletops, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, and Delta Green.

Today, Vince is best known as the Handler for Black Project Gaming’s A Night at the Opera, Impossible Landscapes, and God's Teeth campaigns for the Delta Green roleplaying game. He is also a frequent guest at Mayday Roleplay, where he has run White Wolf Entertainment’s Orpheus, consulted on Seasons 2-4 of Mayday’s Delta Green: Doomed to Repeat campaign, and played in their ongoing Vegas by Night campaign.
